Parents

Parents …

At Starting XI, we offer more than a soccer camp. This is our passion and we would like to teach lifelong skills through soccer. Our camps are diverse to provide for those in need to overcome different obstacles.  Think of our camps as tiers to reach the next level.  Our staff has cautiously planned each training day through European-influenced strategies and player’s feedback about their individuals goals. If you have interest in one-on-one training with a Starting XI staff member, you can contact them directly through the trainers’ page.

These camps are meant to be fun, creative, passionate, and adventurous. We want players to step outside their comfort zone. There are no punishments or disciplinary actions for mistakes. There are no politics at our camps and every player will be assessed fairly.  However, we encourage the hard-working and fighting spirit to be present as the staff will watch and help guide the player’s reactions to mistakes. Please help encourage the players to take risks and chances throughout the camp. Each one of us will improve when we attack challenges outside our comfort zone; even if its a learning experience.

WINTER CAMPS

Since our winter camp is located outdoors, please make sure your child has the appropriate clothing (hats, gloves and long-sleeve shirts/jackets). Depending on the outside temperature, it may be wise for your child to have warm tea rather than water for hydration! Each player must be equipped with shin-guards and a soccer ball that is properly inflated. Please, make sure your child arrives early and not on time and that all paperwork in signed by you if they are under the age 18!

SUMMER CAMPS

Summer camps can be extremely hot especially if the players are playing on turf. Please make sure your child has access to more than enough water. We will provide a sprayer for the kids to cool off. Each player must be equipped with shin-guards and a soccer ball that is properly inflated.  Please, make sure your child arrives early and not on time and that all paperwork in signed by you if they are under the age 18!

What do you need to bring:

  • Signed Waiver Form
  • Emergency Contact Form
  • Player Bio
  • Payment Confirmation Receipt
  • Proper practice equipment including a ball

We will need a hard copy of all forms completely filled out with the appropriate signatures at check-in. Any missing information, signatures or failure to pay the full amount for the camp, gives us the right to deny the players participation until all forms are completed.

**All forms are located in the Guide Tab
